An excellent gift set
This set is a great introduction to Highland Aromatics and with the woven basket makes a nice change from the 'bog standard' gift sets of smellies.

Included is a 100gm tin of body butter which my partner describes as 'simply lush', an 80gm soap bar which is delightfully soft, and a lavender bath fizz which we haven't used yet.

A great gift idea.

Highland aromatics Coorie in basket set
The soap is great. The body butter is excellent. I would prefer it to be a little more delicately scented, because with the warmth of the body it becomes more intense but that's a detail. The lavender fizz, I haven't tried yet but I assume it's as good as the rest of the products.

The size of the contents is fine for the price but the basket is much bigger than the stuff it holds, so when I opened it, it seemed to be half-empty. That's the only thing that would make me hesitate to offer it as a gift. If it seemed that way to me even though I knew what I had ordered, then I don't suppose it would look better to the person I would give it to.

At Bomb Cosmetics, we aim to run our business in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. For example, the card we use in our products has a minimum recycled content of 70%. We use glass, aluminium and PET for our jars and bottles, all of which are easily recycled.

Animal Testing

Animals shouldn't suffer because we choose to take these little pleasures in life. We ensure that none of our suppliers test our ingredients on animals by committing to a fixed cut off date policy in line with major animal right groups recommendations. We never will and never have tested our finished products on animals. We will support raw material manufacturers who fund alternative methods of testing the raw materials we buy.
Our manufacturing is very simple - we make everything by hand.

All of our products are mixed, pressed, moulded, rolled and shaped by hand. We don't use anyone else to make our products and all of our products are made in our factories by our own trained staff. This way, we make sure our product quality is of the highest order - all of our products are 100% inspected before they are packed.

Hand Made Soaps

Our soaps are all made by hand in our own factory by hand. Each block is poured by hand, and then sliced by hand. All the shapes you see in the slices are made of soap and they are made by hand too.

We use the finest quality ingredients and essential oils to make our soaps. They all contain Glycerine (from Palm oil) which is proven to lock moisture into the skin, meaning our soaps moisturise while gently cleansing your skin. They are very mild, having a pH of around 7 which is neutral.

Dry, comfy and well designed.
I have found wellingtons to be a necessary evil. Most keep your feet dry, at least till they spring a leak, but few are comfortable to walk in. Taking a size 8 and a half in shoes, I find I have to go up in size and this only seems to increase my problem with them. No matter what, my socks seem to always want to slip down and bunch near my toes. I have tried a variety of makes over the years with varying degrees of success, but my new Karrimor Unisex boots have proved to be a most pleasant surprise. Not only are they quite comfortable to walk in, they seem very well designed. As a daily dog walker, I meet many different types of terrain and they seem well fitted for a range of purposes. They seem more like extended shoes with the side adjusters so simple to use. The soles provide excellent grip which I find necessary when crossing burns in spate. And there seems little danger of me stepping out of them accidentally in soft, muddy foreshores or peat bogs in the moors nearby. This being the case, the only slight problem is in getting them off without some form of assistance. I would recommend one of the many inexpensive 'welly removers' to save frustration.

All in all, I am delighted with my new boots and find them an excellent bargain at Amazon's competetive price!

The quality and fit of these boots is excellent value, you would expect to pay at least £35 for these in Garden Centres.

These are a good pair of wellys and a nice fit.All in all very happy with them,Worth the £18 I paid but think someone was telling porkys at originaly putting them at £45.Definitely not worth that.

Mammoth Buy Amazing shoes, the mammoths are comfy & supportive. They keep you feet toasty warm, even in winter! They are machine washable too! Would highly recommend them.
Very comfortable Really like these, great for slobbing around the home in. Don't expect to go for long walks in them though, there's no back support so your feet tend to slip around a bit. I ordered my normal size which initially felt too tight, but after a couple of days the lining squashes down and they fitted perfectly.

Classic Shoe
Just received my Converse Chuck Taylor's and have to say I am very impressed. Managed to find a telephone number to contact Amazon and changed my order at late notice (from Navy to classic black), they were very helpful and amended it successfully. These trainers look great with a pair of jeans and have a timeless design that will never go out of fashion. They are also very comfortable and have not been rubbing like most new pairs of shoes do. I think Converse go by American sizes so my advice would be to go for one size down from your usual. The one downside I have found is the quality isn't quite what I thought it would be with the upper consisting of a single ply canvas. This probably helps keep the weight down if you are playing basketball - what the shoes were originally designed by Chuck Taylor to be used for.

Review of the shoes, not the transaction
I'm writing this review as I think browsers expect a review of the product here, and a review of the supplier's service in the 'seller profile', not here. The only review so far seemed to be about a mistake with a card, etc, not about the shoes. SO ... they're a bit expensive because they're Converse All Stars and you're paying for the name. But they're good quality, and come in an excellent variety of colours and styles. My daughter loves the Black/Pink/Cherries and they're sporty and fun. (And we ordered from 'Office' and they arrived really quickly).

I wanted the Vitoria Blue coverses but they were out of stock on the Office website - so I checked here and they were in stock!

Very quick delivery - I ordered them Sunday night, got them on Wednesay afternoon.

The packaging could have been better - it was the original converse shoe box in a simple black bag, so the box was a bit battered.

The shoes are great! You can also return them to any Office store so you can save on postage...if you want to return them that is - I dunno why you would!!

I'd defo buy my converses from here, theres also a HUGE selection of styles.

I bought these Croc's in sage, I'm a UK 6 1/2 and the size UK 7 in this Croc is a comfortable fit - I would say that if you are a UK 7 normally then these probably won't fit you, you'd need a UK 8 in the Croc - no bigger.

All in all, I was pleased with these, very good value for money and comfortable. With Croc's they say always buy a size bigger than you usually are, they fit better.

Have to say I agree with all the positive reviews here for Crocs. I bought my first pair after a transatlantic flight where my (normally) comfy shoes were killing me. I wore them for the second leg of the 24 hr flight and for the rest of the holiday. They are brilliant for walking - like walking on air! So comfy! I was really pleasantly surprised about the lack of sweating etc which I was worried about given them being plastic - but the claims about sweat and odour free are spot on.

Since returning I have bought another pair - my only regret? Not buying them in the US as they're MUCH cheaper there!

Really they are just great!!

The perfect footwear.
Tried these on in a shoeshop just for fun. Now I've bought five pairs and I never wear anything else. Like other reviewers I too have plantar fascitis and also have arthritis in one foot. These shoes help tremendously with both. It's like walking on jelly. Not made up jelly but jelly that is still in cubes before you melt it.

I'm giving all my other shoes to the charity shop; I never want to wear anything else. I know they look silly, but what the hell? To be able to walk miles without pain is the most important thing.

Simple even for me !
This TV was a delight to install.It took me about 25 minutes to remove from the box and place on its plinth. I thought it would be heavier to move about but it was easily handled by me and placing in position was an easy exercise. I had actually worried about this maneouvre but my worries ceased when it clcked into position.
The picture is excellent--- cystal clear and I have no problems with the sound even with my 78 years old ears.

Great TV, but the EPG is a bit Naff
Had this TV a couple of weeks now. Had Bravia's before and this one is also good picture and sound wise. Only negative is the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). If you want to look at the info of a programme on another channel the TV changes to that channel if you press the 'i' button - which is very irritating. Have an older 22" Bravia in the bedroom which doesn't do this so why change it and make it worse! Overall, happy with the TV, but loses 1 star owing to the rubbish EPG.

A Typical Sony TV
Firstly, I have noticed that prices of TVs recently have fallen considerably. In particular, the big makes such as LG, Samsung, and of course Sony. So we ordered this Sony mainly because of the price and as usual a fantastic service is provided by Amazon as it arrived within 2 working days, in perfect condition.

The TV itself is stunning to look at, especially when placed on Levv - Glass Stand For Plasma & LCD TV Up To 32" Or 40kg - Black Glass With Chrome Legs, which is what we bought with it, and so I would fully recommend this combination.

The picture quality and sound are also equally as good, both very crisp and clear. They both have pre-sets, like Cinema, Photo etc., but the one that's best by far in my opinion is 'Dynamic Surround' sound with 'Vivid' picture. The remote is also incredibly easy to use, with few buttons. Don't use the eco setting, as the picture quality is downgraded a lot.

There are few negatives, but one could be that the EPG is a little slow and you cant set a timer, which is trouble for people with an analogue recording equipment.

But overall this is a stunning TV, and probably one of the the best value ones on Amazon. I'd thoroughly recommend it, in fact you'd be mad to not even consider it when buying a 32 inch.

HD Ready TV Or Full HDTV - What Should I Buy?

HD Ready TVs enable you to receive images in high television. In fact, it is reported that there are over 33 million American households that already have an HDTV.
But it is really worth buying an HD Ready TV? The answer is yes. This is not because a lot of people are buying it but because most television shows and movies being made are produced in this format.
In order for you to make the most out of your HD Ready TV, you will need to do a few things. You have to connect the components together, make some adjustments in the setting panel and then get a high definition signal.
If you are having some difficulty, read the manual because this is what it is there for. It may not provide you all the answers but by trying a few things on your own and maybe doing some research on the web, you will get the hang of it.
For those who are not too confident about setting up the HD Ready TV, you can always ask the help of a professional to do the job for you.
There are three ways to get a signal for your HD Ready TV namely using an antenna, through cable or satellite. How you want to get a signal is up to you but for your reference, read on to see how to work using the various methods.
If you are getting a signal through an antenna, you will need to buy an external free standing HDTV tuner also known as an ATSC receiver or ATSC tuner and an HDTV antenna. If this is done through cable, you will need an HD cable set top-box that can be rented or purchased from your cable company.
Should the signal come from a satellite, you will need to buy a HDTV decoder also known as an IRD or Integrated Receiver/Decoder as well as a satellite dish. All this can be avoided of course if you buy an HDTV instead of an HDTV set.
But what is the difference between an HDTV and a HD Ready TV? Well for starters, you don't have to buy a tuner because this is already built into the unit. You just need to get an antenna and then connect this to the HDTV's F connector.
If signal is coming through cable, you still need to get the set up box. If you happen to have a CableCARD, you don't need to buy or borrow the set-top box. To use this, your unit must have a CableCARD slot and of course the card.
Newer models of HDTV's have built-in slots where you can just insert the CableCARD, which are as big as your credit card.
When you connect the box to the TV, make sure you know which format is being used. There are two types namely 720p and 1080i and knowing what you have will make it easier to match the HDTV's output.
Through satellite, you will need a HDTV decoder or IRD, as well as a satellite dish.
So is it worth buying an HD Ready TV? The answer is no after comparing the HD Ready TV and the HDTV. The HDTV is easier to work with compared to the first one so think twice before you decide to buy a new television.

Lego City 7687 Advent Calendar I bought last years advent calendar for my two sons, then aged 3 and 5. They were so excited to open the doors each day that they didn't realise they were counting down the days until Christmas! I hope this years is as good.

emu vs ugg
Probably like many people, I was torn between whether to purchase a pair of UGG boots or EMU boots. In the end, I went for the EMU boots - and couldn't be happier! The Bronte High boots which I went for are much cheaper than UGG boots and have a much thicker hardwearing sole. OK granted that the EMU Bronte boots do not contain real sheepwool lining, only the outer, but they still feel and look gorgeous! The wool is actually Merino wool which is similar to sheep wool. The only criticism I have are that they are narrower than I expected around the calf but I think they will give. Amazon are doing a really good deal on these boots at the moment - I had them in chocolate which are gorgeous! EMU ticks all the boxes in my opinion and I had to write this review to help others in my position who cannot make up their minds - I wasn't dissapointed.

Buy a size smaller!
I bought a similar pair of these last year and ended up giving them away to a friend who had slightly bigger feet! I'm normally a standard 5, but these boots always come up a size bigger. This time round I bought a size 4 and they fit perfectly.

One criticism of them is that if you have slightly larger calves they can be a little tight, I'm a size 12-14 and found them a little restricting on my legs - but maybe that's just me.

These are much nicer than the horribly expensive Ugg boots, which have thinner soles that wear away much quicker and they have a lovely faux fur lining to keep your toes toasty.

When i first saw these boots a few years ago i thought they were hideous but over the years they've grown on me so i thought i'd give them a try and thank god i did!
I can honestly say they are the most comfortable shoes EVER! Your feet feel totally cozy and supported inside its like being outside in your slippers but even more comfortable.
Like most reviews suggest buy a size smaller then your usually size, they may seem a tad bit close but after 2 wears they will be perfect. :-)
I tried on some ugg boots and they are not as comfortable as the emu boots, the emu's are much more spongey and supporting. The UGGs felt flat inside, i'm so glad i went with the emu's.
However the emu's are more narrow around the legs then UGGs are but i don't mind that at all. I've found myself trying to make excuses in my mind of why i need to get the boots in all shades (very tempting) but i suppose thats plain greedy.
Generally folks, great boots give them a try.

Classic Shoe
Just received my Converse Chuck Taylor's and have to say I am very impressed. Managed to find a telephone number to contact Amazon and changed my order at late notice (from Navy to classic black), they were very helpful and amended it successfully. These trainers look great with a pair of jeans and have a timeless design that will never go out of fashion. They are also very comfortable and have not been rubbing like most new pairs of shoes do. I think Converse go by American sizes so my advice would be to go for one size down from your usual. The one downside I have found is the quality isn't quite what I thought it would be with the upper consisting of a single ply canvas. This probably helps keep the weight down if you are playing basketball - what the shoes were originally designed by Chuck Taylor to be used for.

Review of the shoes, not the transaction
I'm writing this review as I think browsers expect a review of the product here, and a review of the supplier's service in the 'seller profile', not here. The only review so far seemed to be about a mistake with a card, etc, not about the shoes. SO ... they're a bit expensive because they're Converse All Stars and you're paying for the name. But they're good quality, and come in an excellent variety of colours and styles. My daughter loves the Black/Pink/Cherries and they're sporty and fun. (And we ordered from 'Office' and they arrived really quickly).

I wanted the Vitoria Blue coverses but they were out of stock on the Office website - so I checked here and they were in stock!

Very quick delivery - I ordered them Sunday night, got them on Wednesay afternoon.

The packaging could have been better - it was the original converse shoe box in a simple black bag, so the box was a bit battered.

The shoes are great! You can also return them to any Office store so you can save on postage...if you want to return them that is - I dunno why you would!!

I'd defo buy my converses from here, theres also a HUGE selection of styles.

Check size first!
Bought a pair of the all black all stars in size 11. Normally that size is fine but they were a bit tight at the toes. Have returned them for 12's. Smart pair of shoes all the same.

Might be worth checking them out in a shop first for size.

Great shoes
I am going to keep it short so you can just get my opinion quickly. These shoes are great, they keep your feet at an amazing temperature for anything, they are comfortable and easy to walk, or do sports in. The material is good and quality is good. Just be prepared to spend an extra minute putting these on before you go out.

Why not?
If you're reading this you probably don't own a pair of these. You probably should. They're wonderfully comfortable, durable, versatile, machine-washable and available in all kinds of colours, patterns and materials. They're also relatively affordable and look better the longer you wear them. Hello?

Night guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), now a successful entrepreneur, returns to the Museum of Natural History to visit his friends--the exhibits that come to life at night--only to learn that they are being shipped off into deep storage at the Smithsonian Institution. To make matters worse, the exhibits at the Smithsonian, including the pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria), are suddenly coming to life--and they aren’t at all happy about their new visitors. Determined to save his friends, Larry rushes to Washington, D.C., and makes his way into the inner workings of the largest museum complex in the world while Kahmunrah recruits the likes of Ivan the Terrible (Christopher Guest), Napoleon (Alain Chabat), and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Larry, meanwhile, finds himself with spunky Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) as a co-conspirator and love interest, and General Custer (Bill Hader) leading the battle for the Smithsonian.

High pressure space wings!
Now I bought this toy at my local Disney store, but I think this page would benefit from having at least one review on it

As a child of six when the original Toy Story came out, I had both Buzz and Woody when the toys were released. However grateful I was for that, its hard to admit the originals lacked the coolness seen in the films, this Buzz Lightyear IS the Buzz you see in the film with one omission - the karate chop action (though the one feature I never cared for)

The most striking thing once you get Buzz is the packaging - if you remember the awesome spaceship he came in in the films, they've done a fantastic job of recreating this (even down to the cardboard wings!), you'll get a certificate of authenticity with every Buzz too!

Onto the action figure itself though, he is proportioned wonderfully and he looks exactly like the Buzz we all love - he has many more points of articulation than the original toy released for the first film, his arms and legs swivel and rotate - his waist is on a ratchet and covered entirely in soft rubber (no hard plastic this time) which moves around, up, down and side to side

He has his brilliant Star Command flip up communicator in his arm, which when opened and closed makes wonderful sound effects, his laser has the same 'pulsating laser light' sound you know from the film also

The highlight of the toy visually however - is his 'high pressure space wings'. They release at the press of a button to yet more sound effects and spring out faithfully to show off an impressive wingspan, now this Buzz has lights on the tip of his wings, one green, one red and they take turns in blinking

Its worth mentioning that he has a couple of different modes, his 'space ranger' mode, and his 'toy' mode which are activated by his blue and red chest buttons respectively (the green is for the interactive mic feature). His space ranger mode is like having him come alive and he'll even complain about his eyes being sucked out of their sockets if you open up his space helmet (which comes complete with wooshing sounds), his head is motorised so he'll look around and talk - to you, about star command and even The Evil Emperor Zurg which occasionally prompts a laser blast

In his toy mode his head will remain static, his speaker will go quieter and tinny and he'll say a range of quotes you'd expect from a toy, (his sound effects such as the helmet wooshing, arm communicator and space wings will remain)

This is a pretty cool toy whichever way you look at it, and any child would really love it, but for those of you who grew up captivated by this particular Space Ranger, he now truly is the Swiss army knife of all toys, and as a result also the perfect replica

This IS the authentic Buzz Lightyear that we can see in the movies. I think that nobody will create a better version.

The Ultimate Buzz Lightyear is incoming and it seems to be alife (but, for example, it has not wings), but this is the best toy version.
