delighted with the superfort
This product is fantastic - goes up in 10 mins and down in less than 5 - great play value. My 4 year old daughter can do almost the whole lot on her own - though it is fun to help.

Christmas Hit
Bought for my 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son. For my daughter the best thing she had at Christmas eclipsing much more expensive presents. She is capable of using it on her own and is always proud of what she has built. Highly recommend it!

EXCELLENT LITTLE TOY - I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE ONE MY 25 YEAR OLD SON & ONE FOR MY TEENAGE NEPHEW - HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT WERE ENJOYED BY BOTH OF THEM. LITTLE TOYS FOR BIG BOYS!

Fun for a 13 year old
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 13 year old nephew. Not one to read instructions first, it took him about 4 goes to make it take off!! Older brother (21) couldn't wait to have a go and the rest of the family followed. Not sure about durability as haven't had it long enough. One small grump, Couldn't find anywhere where it states that 6 AA batteries are needed. Luckily we had some around. Highly recommended.

Amazing
This toy really s great fun. While some say it only goes left e.t.c you can 'trim' it to get rid of the problem. By turning clockwise or anticolockwise you can increase or decrease the speed. Not only that, but it is so durable that I had to step on it (by mistake) to break it; and that only broke the tail stick thing (not propellor) which meant that it just flies in circles. A really freat buy!

Great Buy!
I bought this for my niece's first christmas and she absolutely loved it and still enjoys playing with it.
Realistic noises and soft fur, at this price its worth buying. You do have to attach the handles and the horse to the rocker but wasn't a problem for me, just ensure you have someone to help as you really need to tighten all bolts.

Rocking good fun
I bought this toy for my son who is now 16 months old. He loves it. When you squeeze one of the ears, the tail wags and it makes neighing or clip-clop noises. Its pretty easy to assemble and takes 4 AA size batteries (from memory).
To start with I used to move the horse, but he quickly learned how to do this himself. Its low enough that he can dismount by himself, and there's not a big drop if he were to fall.
The mane does tend to 'shed' a bit, but other than that seems good quality.

2 mins. of fun a few times over and then the batteries wear out
At first sight this toy looked great, however there are a few things that make it not worth a buy. Firstly, there is only about 2 minutes of fun before most of the butterflies come out. Secondly, 3 or 4 of them normally get stuck somewhere along the way out of the elephants trunk. Thirdly, because of the heavy duty lid where the butterflies go, my little one gets frustrated at not being able to do it herself and requires someones help every 2 minutes. This doesn't really make for good independant play. And fourth but not certainly least, after a few goes of the two minutes of fun the batteries wear out and this toy requires a lot of batteries. So if I had my time back I would give this toy a miss.

Disappointing on so many counts...
Echoing what many other reviewers have said, this toy really looks much better on the box and in the adverts than it performs in real life - in fact, we couldn't get it to work at all at first and had to invest in some stronger (and more expensive) batteries. Once it was up and running, it didn't take the children long to get bored of it. The butterflies all shoot out within about 15 seconds, then all there is to do is pick them up and put them back in again. I think it comes with about 30 butterflies, but they soon start to disappear after you've had a few turns. My 2-year-old lost interest because she found it too difficult to catch the butterflies, and my 4-year-old quickly tired of having to keep taking the trunk off and reload all the butterflies every couple of minutes.

Now and then they'll spot the box and want to play, but about 5 minutes later they've had enough. So, although it's a sturdy toy and a nice idea, in practice it's a very disappointing game which I wouldn't recommend at all.

Don't bother
I brought this for my son last Christmas (he was 3 at the time)and he's played with it twice. There aren't enough butterflies, so you spend your time picking them up to put them back in. They all come out at once, so the game is over quite quickly. They are hard to catch for a little one and as soon as the batteries are on the wane, the butterflies don't fly up the sprout! We've recently sold ours at the car boot sale
